SKT T1 K wins All-Stars 2014

In a complete victory with no losses SKT T1 K demolished every other finalist from each region to win All-Stars 2014 without a single loss. They won the Semifinals against Fnatic 2-0 and then proceeded to destroy OMG 3-0 in the Finals. Updating the Tribunal

Riot Stated that they will be changing the Tribunal and in the meantime a system that will heavily penalize players will be used. This means that Leavebuster and other bans will be taken care of harsher so be careful not to mess things up. The system will be up in a while as Riot is using all information gathered in the past years to change the Tribunal. Hopefully after everything is done we will find a system that will actually penalize players for what they are doing and create a more peaceful community.

May Champ and Skin Sale List

Riot has given us the full Sale list for May so that we can save up for things we are interested in. This is a really nice change to the weekly sales as it lets people know ahead of time what they can or want to buy. If you wanted to buy Gladiator Draven, now you don't have to waste RP since you know he will be on sale in less than  month. Hope Riot keeps doing this as it grants players even more freedom on purchases.

Gragas, Rengar and Miss Fortune Changes in Patch 4.5

Riot has released the new update to League of Legends. In this patch major changes to champions, items, runes, and even summoner spells.

Rengar

  • Overall he got some damage nerfs on his basic numbers with better Attack Damage scaling making it so he has to itemize to a specific role instead of just killing Marksmen with a full tank build. His Bola Strike is now a skillshot and his Bonetooth necklace no longer has attack damage but is a now a trinket item.

Gragas
  • Gragas got the Kassadin treatment this patch making him less of a sniper with his barrels and more of a brawler. The changes are relatively weird though as everything scales with Ability Power but you need to be close to hit people. I think these changes will just reduce the pick rate of Gragas a lot and might take him out of competitive play especially in the Mid lane. His major change is that his W does damage now but it no longer grants mana, he just got straight up nerfed overall though.

Heimerdinger
  • As soon as he just got noticed in the LCS, they nerf his base early game damage. It seems that this yordle never gets a break. Hopefully Heimerdinger will still be viable as they buffed his Ability Power ratios to compensate.

Miss Fortune
  • The markswoman just got a huge buff and gameplay changes. The major changes were to her W as it now stacks with her ultimate now. If you get a well timed ultimate you will get all stacks and will be able to basically two hit the tank. I think this change is just what she needed to get back into competitive play and her lack of mobility is now easily rivaled with her large single and AOE damage.

Item Changes:

  • Blue Trinket- The range and duration has been extended, maybe people will finally pick this up at the end of the game with the same range now as Ashe's Hawkshot ability.
  • Feral Flare- An evolution to wriggles lantern this new item will give a lot of power to heavy jungle clear champions that are waiting for the late game as its passive is basically an inferior version of Nasus's stacks dealing damage the more you farm it.
  • Aether Wisp- This new item grants a better middle ground when building toward your Lich Bane or Twin Shadows.
  • Forbidden Idol- Building into Talisman and Morellonomicon it grants cooldown reduction to help supports get CDR when building towards their talisman.

Boot Enhancements:

  • Alacrity- Grants 20 extra movespeed now.
  • Capitan- Cost reduced and aura now grants 10% movespeed to your team.
  • Distortion- Grants extra effects for Ghost, Flash, and Teleport as well as reducing these Spells' cooldowns.
  • Furor- Cost reduced.
  • Homeguard- Cooldown for the effect to take place has been reduced but no longer instantly restores health.

Rune Changes mostly affected Lifesteal and Armor Runes as they
wanted people to have more diversity.

The mastery Feast was buffed to compensate with the Lifesteal rune changes and every champion got 4 extra armor to their base armor.

Summoner Spells:

  • Exhaust- Less Attack speed reduction, more base damage reduction.
  • Heal- Lower cooldown, and now grants movespeed.
  • Ignite- Grants vision.
  • Barrier- Particle changes.

Dragon got some changes but they weren't major like at the start of the Season.

Patch 4.4 Rundown

The 4.4 Patch notes are out and many things have changed. First off Kassadin has been reworked (really just nerfed) with noticeable changes to his Q, W, and R abilities. Annie has gotten some ratios changed but the main focus is making her AP ratios better. Lich Bane has gotten its AP ratio lowered and to compensate the AP ratios of Ezreal, Diana, Fizz, and Twisted Fate have been raised. Elise has been nerfed but her Rappel's cooldown has been lowered. Hiemerdinger got a visual update and some minor changes to his turrets. Kog'Maw's Q is now a skill shot and both his W and Tristana's Q now cost no mana. Nautilus's shield has been buffed a bit and Sivir got mana costs raised. Thresh and Skarner got some minor utility changes. Vi has gotten some ratios changed for her abilities. Finally, Teleport now only has a 200 second cooldown when used on an ally turret. Be sure to visit http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/patch/patch-44-notes for the full notes.

The Heimerdinger Visual Update is here!

The Dinger rework is finally out on the Rift. Riot has changed his animations and even given him brand new voice acting. To celebrate this, they are releasing a bundle with all of Heimerdinger's skins. The Bundle includes:

  • Alien Invader Heimerdinger
  • Blast Zone Heimerdinger
  • Piltover Customs Heimerdinger
  • Snowmerdinger
This bundle is 25% off at a price of 3810 RP, remember the bundle will change in price according to items already owned. Be sure to pick up this great bundle and try out the new Heimer, have fun in the Rift.

The Hero of a Fallen City.......

What looks to be a brand new Rumble skin has been released by Riot and it looks really interesting. In a comic book style reveal, this resembles the last Ultimate skin released a few months ago, Spirit Guard Udyr. On a side note could this be a hint of a Rumble rework? Many fans are speculating this so stay tuned.

Changes to Kassadin upcoming

The Kassadin nerfs have finally arrived and they have hurt him quite a lot. First off, his Q ability is no longer a silence, instead it just cancels channeled abilities. This ability also grants a shield now to compensate for the lack of the silence. The W ability only activates for one auto attack now and with the Lich bane nerfs that are also arriving, it is severely hurt overall. The E is not changed at all but did get some cool new particle changes and the R has received a status bar that shows how much mana you will consume for it. Finally, the passive now grants movement through units instead of the attack speed buff though the magic resist part has been unchanged. This change will finally make Kassadin playable in ranged and equal to other viable mid laners in the current meta. Have fun playing Kassadin again since its the first time you have in the past 2 years.

Warwick Rework Upcoming!

According to Riot there are many champion reworks coming in 2014. The ones that we already know are coming are Sion, Warwick, Karthus, Taric, and Poppy. Riot recently stated information on the Warwick rework. They said that his W ability will be completely scrapped as an attack speed steroid for the team is unheard of in the current meta and this will be getting a major change. His ultimate (R) will also get a change; riot stated that it will be like a skillshot that if you hit someone the animation will start and if you didn't you would return to the original position. Lets see how the rework turns out in the end.
